What is Edible Packaging?

Edible packaging has become a new phenomenon as the food industry works to create more zero waste options for consumers. Though it is only in the early stages, there have been coffee shops who have adopted edible coffee cups that mean there is no waste when ordering a coffee. These cups apparently taste like a sort of cookie and can hold coffee for quite a long time without getting soggy. As the world continues to develop these technologies, it will be interesting to see what other forms of packaging can be made edible!
