Though goat’s milk may the more unpopular choice of milk, it is one that is highly nutritious. Goat’s milk contains a lot of protein and calcium, both great nutrients required for the body to function well. There is also evidence that goat’s milk helps the body absorb more nutrients from the food being consumed. The milk also has a good amount of prebiotics, which are healthy bacteria that help the digestive system. Another benefit that goat’s milk has is the lower percentage of lactose. This means that goat’s milk might be easier to digest for those with lactose sensitivities. Goat’s milk is also lower in cholesterol compares to cow’s milk. Other than this, the health benefits of goat’s milk are similar to those of cow’s milk: both extremely nutritious and healthy!
